Supermarket Inspiration ~ Lensbaby Blog Circle (May)

I would love to be able to say that I’m super organised and have ideas planned well in advance for the Lensbaby blog circle posts but the reality is that I’m usually at least a week into the month before I even start to think about it.

May was no exception and I had no idea what to shoot for the post until I was wandering around my local supermarket and saw a bunch of British Allium for sale. They took me a little by surprise, I don’t think I’ve seen allium for sale as a cut flower before but I knew they would be great for some still life images with the Velvet lenses. I’d also just bought some new textures from Flypaper Textures so some of this months images have textures added.

I love what you did with those textures – and can understand why you had to have them – they really work superb with your flower images!
My favourite is the Allium in the poison bottle.

Glorious images as always, Janet! I am especially lusting after those apothecary bottles of yours…but love the purpliciousness of the Allium too.
