Snow With The Lensbaby Edge 50 – Lensbaby Blog Circle (March)

What a difference a month makes!

For February’s Lensbaby Blog Circle Post the end of the month was fast approaching and I was in a bit of flap that I’d had shot nothing for the post and didn’t have much time. For the March post I shot my images on the first day of the month!! I would love to say that I was being efficient and organised but the reality was that the “Beast From The East” landed and brought with bitterly cold weather and a good covering of dry powdery snow.

Driving was out of the question but luckily I have lots of lovely places in walking distance so I set off for the local park. I always feel the the Edge 50 adds a little bit of dreamy magic to a landscape so it seemed the obvious choice for snow.

Lovely set of images Janet. Unfortunately, we didn’t get as much of the beast from the East, here in the west of Ireland so no snow photos from me. But I managed to get my pics for the month anyway. 🙂

Ours didn’t last very long fortunately but it was very pretty for a day of so!

Oh, these are gorgeous! Love the subdued palette and the way you place your plane of focus. I am with you on the lack of photos for the previous month – I’ve tried to make up for it this weekend with photowalks every day. Come spring, come now!

Thanks so much Birgit! I wish I could be organised enough for a daily photo walk!

Thanks for sharing a little bit of winter. Something I sometimes miss here in SoCal. Your photos made want to go for a long winter walk, followed by hot chocolate and whipped cream.

If you’d been there in the bitterly cold biting wind I think you would soon be longing to be back in SoCal!!

These are just breathtaking and so beautiful Janet! I like how there seems to be a large area of focus with that wonderful edge blur, especially with the ducks on the edge of the pond.

Thanks Melita, I’ve neglected the Edge 50 and every time I get it out I remember how much I love it!
