A Frosty Morning – Serenity Project January

2nd January, the first “real” day of 2019 (don’t know about you but New Year’s Day never feels like a real day somehow) and I woke to the most beautiful frosty morning. A glorious winter day, bright but bitterly cold.

I argued with myself, part of me wanted to go out and capture the beauty and tranquillity of the morning, part of me wanted to stay warm and cosy. Warm and cosy won for a little while but the need to create shouted louder and louder until I felt compelled to wrap myself up warm and venture out for a wander.

Gathering up my camera and my Lensbaby Velvet 85 I headed out into the quiet, still morning, a perfect Serenity Project setting…
