Vintage Lens Still Life Photography

Well the last few weeks have turned out much busier than expected with lots of copy writing work for lovely photographers. Obviously I’m not complaining, I love to write for photographers. But I have been neglecting my own blog, and Facebook, and Twitter and even Instagram!

So I thought I’d just share a few pictures. I’d been shooting for my brand new stock photography shop (more on that another day, when I’ve more time to spare) so I decided to get out one of my vintage lenses and take a few pictures for my Year of Unconventional Lenses project.

All the above are taken with the Helios 44-2 a 58mm vintage Russian lens from around 1969.

I’m currently pondering how best to collect together the images for the Year of Unconventional Lenses project, obviously I’ll be sharing some here on the blog but it seems a good idea to somehow display them altogether. I’ve been thinking about an Adobe Portfolio site, if anyone has any experience of them or ideas of a better way I’d love to hear from you!
