Autumn, Revisited

I’m currently in the process of reviewing the blog posts on my business website and deciding which ones should be transferred over to Definitely Dreaming. It’s a bigger task than I thought it would be, its so hard to be ruthless and select only the posts that are strictly relevant, but at the same it’s enjoyable to take the time and look back over some older photoshoots that are almost forgotten now!

This lovely autumn portrait session was one of my very earliest outdoor sessions and I still love it, looking back at these images reminds me of what a great time we had playing with the leaves. It was one of those autumns where the colours were so much better than usual – apparently wet summers lead to better autumn colours and this particular year had been a VERY wet summer !!

Demi made a great model and her Grandma also joined in for a few shots – even Ava the dog enjoyed herself !

Autumn is without a doubt my favourite time of year and I always get a little bit excited at this time of year when you start to feel that chill in the early mornings and the first leaves are starting to change colour.

I’m now taking bookings for autumn children’s portrait sessions and have limited weekend availability in October,┬áif you’d like some more information please email janet@jbroughton.co.uk.
